About Us.....What you see as Aspiring Faces today, is the culmination of 4 years of development, and over 100 years of combined experience. Originally a resource site for actors, we've grown into an all-encompassing arena for the entertainment industry, including our primary feature-packed areas for models and actors.A Brief History:Joe Mendoza, the creator of the original Aspiring Faces Network, and Rick Wooton founder of Models-1 Associates (a resource site for models and photographers) originally got together to offer each other banner links and to discuss the possible sharing of resources. After several meetings, countless phone calls, and hundreds of emails, the pair of entrepreneurs decided to merge their respective companies, and together they began work on the new organization. When Joe was forced to drop out to devote time to completing his masters degree, Rick continued the project on his own.Models and actors need exposure as well as professional services, information and educational material made available to them, but so do all other areas of the industry including stage and screen performers, musicians and even behind-the-scenes professionals such as stage hands, writers, and technicians. To provide these services - the new Aspiring Faces was born. No where else will you find such a complete resource service for the entertainment industry. Expanding On A Vision:At it's inception, the company wanted to be able to offer any and all services that a model or actor might need to reach their goals such as: basic information, advice and counseling, training, photo services for composites and ZED cards, management and agency services, and exposure. The staff and associates existing at the time had many years of experience and the resources and talent to do exactly that. But as this first seed began to grow, it became apparent that all other types of performers and professional service people needed these same types of services, and it was all interrelated. For example, models need photographers, and photographers need makeup artists for the models. Photographers needed a service that would present their talents and abilities to not only models and actors, but clients as well. Models also need agencies, and photographers need clients. The client needs the models and photographers, but they also need other professionals such as lighting technicians, coordinators, layout and graphics artists, project managers and more - especially when the project is on location or at a venue other than their home area. The agencies need exposure to the models, and photographers need equipment and other services too - such as processing, enlargements, etc. So as you can see, the circle gets bigger and bigger as we envision it. We've categorized all these inter-dependent professions into three basic areas: talent, resources and advertisers.
What You'll Find Inside:Of course you'll find a very comprehensive and searchable database of all the different categories of talent, resources and advertisers, but you'll also find POWERFUL SERVICE OPTIONS for most of these areas. Our services are broken down into 3 optional classes. All you have to do is decide what level of service is right for your particular needs.
